Medical Disclaimer: The information provided in this article is for educational and research purposes only and does not constitute formal medical advice. Post-Acute Sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC) is a complex medical condition. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional before starting any new dietary supplement or treatment protocol. Federal data published by the U.S. CDC indicates that approximately 17.9% of adults who previously contracted COVID-19 continue to experience persistent symptoms of Long COVID (Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2, or PASC). Clinical research shows that post-viral chronic illness disproportionately impacts females, individuals who experienced severe initial infections, and those with pre-existing metabolic conditions. If you are struggling with debilitating fatigue, brain fog, chest discomfort, or autonomic dysfunction three months or more after infection, you are navigating post-COVID syndrome. Understanding the biological d...

Vitamin D May Improve Post-COVID-19 Vaccine Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: Study (2025)

Image
The study titled, Efficacy of vitamin D replacement therapy on 28 cases of myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome after COVID-19 vaccination , was published in Nutrition (2025): Background Prolonged symptoms have been reported following both COVID-19 infection and vaccination, with some cases leading to myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). Of 80 patients presenting to our hospital with postvaccination syndrome, 28 met the diagnostic criteria for ME/CFS. We conducted a retrospective study on these 28 patients. Methods We measured serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels in 28 patients who developed ME/CFS after COVID-19 vaccination between August 2022 and February 2024. Vitamin D replacement therapy included dietary counseling, sun exposure recommendations, and oral vitamin D supplementation. We evaluated changes in blood vitamin D levels and symptom improvement. Results At initial visit, 27 of 28 patients diagnosed with ME/CFS had insufficient or deficient...

Dr Peter McCullough: Mayo Clinic and Vitamin D in the Prevention of COVID-19

I wondered if the medical orthodoxy had caught up to the emerging positive literature on vitamin D and the prevention of COVID-19. As of January 26, 2023, infectious disease specialist Dr. Daniel C. DeSimone said this about vitamin D on the Mayo Clinic website: His message is uncertain on vitamin D but he uses the opportunity to tell you to “get vaccinated” and then to further seduce the reader into the novel genetic mRNA injections by stating “Having enough vitamin D also may have people get the most out of their COVID-19 vaccination.” Sartini et al  performed a meta-analysis of 7 randomized trials and 12 observational studies on vitamin D supplementation BEFORE COVID-19 illness involving 1,262,235 patients. The findings according to the authors were: “Our findings indicate that vitamin D supplementation has a protective effect against the incidence of COVID-19 in RCT studies (OR 0.403, 95% IC 0.218, 0.747), in the incidence of COVID-19 in analytical studies (OR = 0.592, 95% IC 0...

Dr Mercola's COVID Treatment Protocol

Image
Considering the uncertainties around diagnosis, it's best to treat any cold or flu-like symptoms early. At first signs of symptoms, start treatment. Perhaps it's the common cold or a regular influenza, maybe it's the much milder Omicron, but since it's hard to tell, your best bet is to treat symptoms as you would treat earlier forms of COVID. Considering how contagious Omicron is, chances are you're going to get it, so buy what you'll need now, so you have it on hand if/when symptoms arise. And, remember, this applies for those who have gotten the jab as well, since you're just as likely to get infected — and perhaps even more so. Early treatment protocols with demonstrated effectiveness include: The Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance's (FLCCC's) prevention and early at-home treatment protocol. They also have an in-hospital protocol and long-term management guidance for long-haul COVID-19 syndrom...

Want a simple, low-cost way to help protect you from COVID infection, hospitalization and death? This new large-scale study with 220,265 patients confirms it works and has no side effects, even though it was written off as ‘misinformation’ during the pandemic. STORY AT-A-GLANCE Researchers from Johns Hopkins University, the University of Chicago and the Department of Veterans Health Affairs conducted a large-scale pharmacoepidemiologic study of the association between vitamin D and COVID-19 infection and mortality Those who took vitamin D2 supplements had a 28% lower risk of COVID-19 infection, while those taking vitamin D3 had a 20% lower risk Death from COVID-19 was also lower among those taking vitamin D — 33% lower among those taking vitamin D3 and 25% lower among those taking vitamin D2 If ...
